Technology from SafeCloud project demonstrated in Tokyo

Last month, the SafeCloud project was presented to the CENTRA community, during the CENTRA 3 Meeting: Smart Cyberinfrastructure for Transnational Science. This meeting brings together international CENTRA researchers to review ongoing or new collaboration projects that require contributions from researchers and/or cyberinfrastructure from different countries.
The INESC TEC team that was in Tokyo also demonstrated the technology from the SafeCloud project.

Pascal Felber is a professor at the University of Neuchâtel's (UniNE) computer science department, and leads the research group on complex systems. With a team of Swiss and Portuguese researchers, he is developing a SafeCloud platform intended to provide the next generation of secure and highly configurable data platform systems. This project has multiple applications and could revolutionise data protection. Interview.

SafeCloud publishes article in Transactions on Information Theory Journal

The article entitled STEP-archival: Storage Integrity and Tamper Resistance using Data Entanglement is accepted for publication in the prestigious IEEE Transactions on Information Theory journal.

Project meeting in Champéry

The 6th SafeCloud project meeting was held in Champéry, Switzerland, from 12-13 February. The main topics were the organisation of the third year of the project, as well as leveraging knowledge and technologies beyond SafeCloud. Thanks to Université de Neuchâtel!
